Every day we will learn from a new math lesson. The students will complete a problem set together in class and it will be sent home along with their homework. The homework is very similar to the problem set. This problem set is a great resource for parents and students to use while completing homework. Most often a fact sheet will be sent home for homework as well. The following are fun websites your child may enjoy using to practice math:
D.R.E.A.M.S Reading Program-Develop Reading Explore Adventures Maximizing Skills
D.R.E.A.M.S has taken the place of the STAR reading program. To become a D.R.E.A.M.S. member in fourth grade, students have to earn 30 points. Students have silent reading time at school and have an opportunity to take tests on those books. Tests can be taken on books read at home also. Please send in the books as they complete them and they will be given the chance to take a test on them.
